 Windswept Hill Farm

The Little Free Library at Windswept Hill Farm was built with leftovers from the colorful barn built from salvaged material that houses the Wustenberg family's flock of Blue-Faced and Border Leicester Sheep. We are honored that photos of the "MondriBarn" were requested for the Steglijk Art Museum De Stijl collection in Amsterdam. The House Next Door is a guest house also remodeled with architectural salvage as a creative retreat. The farm is home to a menagerie of farm animals and pets, including a pond of pet koi, a bossy cat, and a very spoiled Airedale Terrier. The sheep flock that started 20 years ago as a 4H project by the family's children is now a growing business producing yarns, quilting batts, hand-felting materials, and finished handcrafts. The farm is increasingly known for workshops that teach people of all ages how to make handcrafts from wool, most notably wool angels.
