2020 Board President & Co-Chair of the Farm Safety & Health Project. Minnesota’s largest registered herd of Royal and Trim Tibetan Yak roam 40 pastoral acres of Clear Spring Farm in Welch, MN thanks to the Smith’s passion for the gentle animals. 

Diana Weinhardt-Treangen, Vice President

Harvest Hill Acres, located in the beautiful SOGN valley of south central Minnesota, is home to a purebred flock of CVM Romedale sheep. Unique fiber blend yarns made with locally crafted wool grown on this small family farm.

Wendy Wustenberg, Secretary

2020 Board Secretary & Co-Chair of the Farm Safety & Health Project. Windswept Hill Farm in Farmington, MN is home to rare Leicester sheep and opportunities for awakening the creative spirits of all ages.

Sue Wiegrefe, Treasurer

2020 Board Treasurer from Prairie Plum Farm in Mabel, MN. Sue Wiegrefe's mission is to nurture the land, protect the watershed, and work with nature to produce wholesome food and a regenerative experience for inhabitants and visitors.

Teri Quamme

Red Gate Alpaca Farm in Dundas, MN has a herd of over 70 Suri Alpacas who roam the beautiful 70-acre farm along the Cannon River Valley. The Quamme's have breeding stock available and results of competitions nationwide on their website.

Jessica Anderson

Frosty Acres Alpacas in Brycelyn, MN is home to extremely sociable Huacaya Alpacas. Expanding interests of consumers for information about direct purchasing from farms, understanding about fiber and handcrafting, and agritourism activities led to Jessica’s involvement as a founder of North Star Farm Tour.

Pauley Alpaca Company in Rochester, MN is home to suri alpacas, goats, chickens, miniature horses, and a duck. Up-close access to animals, public events, and gift shop have entertained visitors from over 40 countries.
